Dr. Leslie W. Braksick
Dr. Leslie Braksick has a career-long record of helping young people demystify and navigate success in career and life. A three-time business builder, published thought leader, and community champion, she helps students and early professionals gain the clarity, confidence, and capabilities to achieve and accelerate their career goals.
Leslie helped launch ProjectYou after co-founding MYNEXTSEASON, a company providing comprehensive transition services for executives all along the career continuum. Prior to MYNEXTSEASON, she co-founded and served as Chairman and President/CEO of the Continuous Learning Group, Inc. (CLG), specializing in strategy execution for Fortune 500 companies. During that same period, Leslie developed, led, and underwrote an annual three-day Leadership Institute for more than two-dozen inner-city rising high school seniors.
Leslie is a prolific author whose works on executive leadership and transition are used in graduate business programs and corporations in the US and abroad. She is a board member of the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and a Member of the Chief Global Officer Council of the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business at the University of Pittsburgh. She previously served on the Princeton Theological Seminary Board and recently contributed to the Eradicate Hate Global Summit held in Pittsburgh as a Steering Committee Member.
Leslie holds a doctorate in Applied Behavioral Science and a master’s degree in Industrial Psychology from Western Michigan University. She additionally earned a master’s degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University. She has been married for more than 30 years and has three adult children and two granddaughters.
