Christine Furstoss
Christine Furstoss is a former Fortune 50 engineering, technology, and manufacturing executive known for accelerating innovation and disrupting industry. She now applies her wealth of leadership expertise as a ProjectYou advisor, helping young professionals identify what drives them to excel and how to adapt their skills as the world changes around them. A career-long mentor, Christine teaches clients how to ask themselves the right questions when faced with career choices and challenge the status quo in ways that deliver value and personal fulfillment.
Christine tailored her own career to her passions and competencies, creating many of her own roles as she rose through the ranks at General Electric (GE). As Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, she helped build GE Additive from the ground up to industrialize new manufacturing technologies in multiple industries. During her career across many GE divisions, she led large global teams in creating industry-leading products, developed and adopted technology for manufacturing and services, and strengthened operations management, trust, and transparency in her departments.
Christine is passionate about workforce modernization and mentoring women in STEM, and helped found and lead GE’s Women in Technology Network. She is a valued member of multiple government, academic, and not-for-profit boards. Christine is married, has one son, and enjoys fishing, gardening, and game nights with friends and family.
